Oathkeeper

Claire is a character who basically has changed the landscape of Alice’s life and who Alice is on a fundamental level without ever being in her life. Her father has certainly been changed by Claire’s short life, and Alice learned about mortality and the concept of unfairness (and road safety) pretty early on. Charles and Sharon made the decision to make this tragedy into a teaching moment for their second daughter.
