Alice and Cheryl never had a very strong friendship to begin with. Alice is the sort of friend who’s fiercely loyal and ever present. Cheryl is the sort of friend who forgets your birthday because she was getting high and hooking up with a dude. That being said, Alice’s loyalty clearly doesn’t survive past what she sees as an unforgivable snub.

Alice is sheltered, a late (late, late, late) adapter of technology, a devout Christian, and she has anger issues. She was never meant to survive the party scene of small town America.
