Alice doesn’t get out of the house much, so her social events are very, very important to her. Sadly, when you’re in high school, no one else feels the same way. Alice is still shaken up about her career goals falling through, so she’s really relying on this to go through.

Cheryl is wearing a ton of fake tan and make up. She’s the sort of girl who’s a relentless social butterfly, which is why someone as popular as her has plans to go to a movie with Alice. Cheryl’s a lot of fun to write, even though I’d hate her in real life.
