The New Adventures of the Infinity Legion was a two year long RPG campaign. This comic is largely based off that campaign. Of course, I’ve taken some influences from other comic sources, so I have a nice potpourri of inspiration going on.
The Infinity Legion of Earth is essentially the hero organization. The Infinity Legion is an evolution of the Society of Power Men, the major hero group that ruled over the 1930s and ’40s. No other major hero organization exists in North America, and no hero organization on Earth has the same amount of influence. Different continents are represented by their own hero organizations, but the Infinity Legion serves Earth. In a world with supernatural powers, there are vigilantes, small-timers, local heroes, and wash ups running around. Luckily, on the small scale, the good and the bad essentially cancel each other out.
